Citysound is once again bring the Word through music to Union Rescue Mission on Tuesday April 19th at 7:00pm. There will be song and praise and worship celebrating the Easter season! CitySound Gets Ready for Christmas Season

CitySound is gearing up to provide its contemporary style of inspirational music to the Missions here in Los Angeles. Here is our schedule:

December 2nd: Singing at Union Rescue Mission - 7:00pm-8:00pm
December 8th: Singing at Los Angeles Mission - 7:00pm-8:00pm
December 19th: Singing at Hope Gardens -- 5:00pm-6:00pm

CitySound NEEDS your help for this season. Two ways you can serve:

If you are a singer and want to serve in your community using your voice, come to our rehearsals at Bel Air Presbyterian Church starting October 18th at 7:00pm. We rehearse in the music suite below the main sanctuary. For Directions, click on the link to the side and see the schedule of rehearsals.
WE NEED FINANCIAL SUPPORT! CitySound is a non-profit 501 c(3) and funds raised go to pay musicians, purchase music and equipment as well as provide transportation for singers and equipment to get to the services. Your financial help continues our mission of providing inspirational music to those in need. Please send anything you can to help this incredible program. Your donation is tax deductible.

Up On the Roof at Union Rescue Mission

Citysound continues its singing and serving with a rooftop concert at Union Rescue Mission this summer. The outdoor concert drew almost 200 participants in URM's program including many of the programs new women and children who are the fastest growing segment of homeless in Los Angeles. Ice cream was served, people danced and praised, and a great time was had by all. Many were inspired to come down to the stage during CitySound's Alter Call segment and give themselves to Christ! Many use the music as "food for the Soul" in these troubled times and feel inspried to do better when they can experience the joy of the Lord through music. God be Praised.

CitySound performed its annual Christmas Concert at Union Rescue Mission. The response was fantastic as all praised the Lord as we celebrated his birth. CitySound Transforms at PATH

Hot August Nights!! CitySound brought its brand of Christian and Contemporary music to the residents at P.A.T.H. (People Assisting the Homeless!) It was a wonderful concert filled with the Joy of the Lord, bringing hope to all. Here is what Sally Evans, Director at Path had to say...

"Hi Mark. Thanks for a wonderful concert last Thursday evening. Our residents and staff at PATH had an uplifting experience. We appreciate your energy, your time, your love of music, and your love for others. As I told Mary Erickson, one of our residents was very depressed that day, and your singing gave her hope to go on. You truly made a difference. Please let your musicians and singers know that it was a transforming event for many of our residents.

Once again, CitySound Singers will bring the word of God to LA Mission on July 8th, 2008 at 7:00pm. This concert will part of "Mission Week" and plans to be a spectaular night! Join CitySound at Knox Presbyterian Church

If you are a singer and want to sing contemporary Gospel music, then come sing with us at Knox Presbyterian Church on May 18th at 9:30am. CitySound will be providing the music for the service and it plans to be full of fun, spirit filled music praising God.

If you want to sing, see the adjoining rehearsal schedule. We rehearse at Bel Air Presbyterian Church from 7-9pm on Monday's. Come the next two rehearsals. If you can read music or learn fast, come and see how CitySound spreads the gospel through music!!!!

CitySound Sings at Love LA

CitySound is becoming a regular at Love LA in downtown! Once again the group brought its great contemporary style to the service at Love LA for about 200 of the local congregation, homeless and many others. It was an incredible day.

CitySound will be performing at the annual Union Rescue Mission Thanksgiving service on Saturday November 17th. See last year's picture!!! Its a great was to serve the community with a hot meal and fantastic music. Many groups will be performing throughout the day. If you want to come serve with your voice, come to our rehearsals. CitySound will be performing during a one-hour service at the Los Angeles Mission in Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday July 14th. Showtime is at Noon. Singers are to arrive at 11:00am for a sound check.

CitySound again served downtown at the the Love LA service near the Union Rescue Mission on January 21st. It was an incredible day spreading the Word of God through music and all were delighted.

CitySound Does Christmas at URM

CitySound performed at the Union Resecue Mission on December 7th, 2006 and filled the air with the sounds of God's music and Christmas. What a wonderful evening that indcluded residents of the URM as well as homeless families. The picture you see is of CitySound with some of the homeless children coming in to the URM for food and shelter. We can only pray for them for safety, guidence and hope. If you are a singer and want to share God's love through music, contact us.

Hello to all singers and musicians! We are confirmed for singing at Love-LA's Sunday Service on January 21st. Service is from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. We will sing three songs (TBD) but ones you know. Plan on sound ceck at 2pm.

Fall 2006

November/December was a busy time for CitySound. We kicked off the fall by singing at Union Rescue Mission on the Street by celbrating Thanksgiving and the feeding of over 2,000 homeless. CitySound performed over a hour and a half of blessed music for those in need.
